Sometimes, don’t you crave something? But you wonder, “WHAT?” That was me yesterday. I wanted something delicious, something quick and easy that I could just whip up in minutes.
I look in the fridge -saw eggs, bacon, mustard, mayo, and pickles. And there it was, a light bulb lit up! My Bacon Deviled Eggs!! They have such a flavor that just burst in your mouth when you take that first bite. It made my eyes roll back. Mmmmm….good!
You will not be disappointed with this delicious recipe!
Ingredients
- 2 eggs, boiled, peeled
- 1 slice bacon, cooked and chopped, set aside 1/2 teaspoon bacon (for garnishment)
- 1/2 tablespoon mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/2 tablespoon pickles, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon chives, sliced for garnishment (it also adds that extra flavor)
- Pinch salt
- Pinch Pepper
How to prepare
- Take the hard boiled eggs and slice down the middle. (I like to cut done the long side). *optional
- Place the yellow stuffing in a small bowl.
- Combine the mustard, mayo, bacon, salt and pepper to the stuffing and mix.
- Take a plastic storage bag, insert the mix and snip the corner.
- Pipe in the mix in the cavity of egg. Make sure to use about the same amount in each egg.
- Sprinkle bacon bits and chives on top for garnishment. And ready to eat now!
