I am a Shopaholic!! I hate to admit it but I am.  I can wonder and lose myself in Hobby Lobby and Michaels for hours.   I go down each and every isle just to look at everything. I don’t know WHY (???) but I just do.  LOVE to look.  It’s kind of like watching Food Network, Cooking Channel or HGtv.  Yes, like a little kid in a candy store. (lol) I never know when a new craft idea will strike me.

I know it’s early to be talking about Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays.  But these little sugar sweets just puts me in the mood.  Cranberries are seasonal…I can only find them during the holidays.  (so sad) They are so addictive that its hard just to take a few.  Pass me the whole bowl!

Who likes hiking or taking nature walks?  We do!  There’s something about living in the country where I can take a walk or lay down in the grass and get lost in my thoughts just like when I was a kid.   We are surrounded by pine trees.  And everyday I open my windows to let in the cool breeze.  I pour me a cup of coffee in the morning and stare out the kitchen window feeling blessed.  Country living is the LIFE!

Guacamole Dip

 

I am so glad that summer is here!  Because that means BBQing time and parties outside.  I “love love” making Guacamole dip and homemade tortilla chips any chance I get and for no reason at all.  This delicious dip and tortilla chips is so easy to make.   The dip is so creamy, zesty and packed with flavor.

I am so in love with these Burlap Book Covers.  So pretty and 123 easy project to do.    You can find so many colors and patterns in burlap these days.  Many more NEW projects to come with burlap.   I am bursting with ideas!! lol

I’ve been collecting Mason Jars for a while now.   Since I LOVE the holidays, I decided to start painting them to use for my décor, parties and also for gift givers.   Who wouldn’t want to display these pretty jars throughout their home.  I love anything and everything country and rustic.   It’s the country girl in me.

Flowered Shaped Fruit

I love the summer because it’s time to start grilling and having backyard parties.   Picking out Watermelons is not my strongest suit.   But I love eating them.  It seems that I am probably the only one in this family that loves them.   I go to Walmart practically every week looking for something new to try or buy.   A few weeks ago I found these flower cookie cutters.   Since we were having a BBQ that following weekend.  I decided to buy watermelons and kiwis to try them.  They came out beautifully.   Every time I turned around someone was taking one.   My mysterious ghost…lol

Fall Wreath

I love decorating my home all year round.  Thrift shopping is a hobby of my mine.  I never know what I’ll find.    During this outing; I found this Spring Wreath.  After standing for a minutes thinking what can I do (??) with this wreath.   I decided to make it into a Fall Wreath, which meant a trip to the craft store.   This was a simple and easy project.

This family loves peanut butter. It’s Friday and we are getting ready to go to the cabin for our much needed R and R. I tend to ready myself with dessert ideas for the weekend because my hubby just loves them. So for this weekend, you guessed it right peanut butter ??. For me, I want something easy and simple. {sweet & salty} And you ONLY need 5 ingredients. How easy is that! These cookies are so creamy and melt in your mouth when there still warm with a glass of milk.
